The post offices will be closed on the date and weekday mentioned in the table below. Post offices are closed on all the U.S federal holidays and all the services are closed on these holidays. Also, there is one important point to note that, if a postal or federal holiday falls on any day of the weekend then that holidays will be observed on the closed weekday.

For an instance, if a holiday is falling on a Saturday then that holiday will be observed on the preceding Friday and if a holiday is falling on Sunday then that holiday will be observed on the succeeding Monday.
